Environmental Consultant - Construction and Utilities
This is a rare opportunity to join an extremely reputable, independent Environmental, Engineering and Health & Safety Consultancy in the UK, currently midway through their growth phase.
Reporting to the Head of Environmental, you will be responsible for consulting with clients on Construction Environmental and Ecological Management projects across a range of small developers to large construction and utility businesses, with project lengths from the short-term to multiple years. You’ll also assist in Environmental Impact Assessment and Permit Applications.
What we’re looking for:
From day to day, you’ll be a key member of the Environmental team and will be involved in working closely in a client-facing role with lead responsibilities for excellent project delivery. You’ll also provide broad business development support, identifying new clients and opportunities, to assist the growth strategy.
You’ll need to maintain an in-depth knowledge of the market and cultivate relationships with a range of clients – the better you understand their individual needs, the more successful you’ll be able to deliver consultancy solutions.
As a professional Environmental Consultant, you’ll hold an Honours or Masters Degree in a environmental management, environmental studies, ecology or a related subject with membership of a professional body such as CIEEM/IEMA.
As a person, you’ll have the ability and desire to succeed, interest and motivation in Continuous Professional Development and be an excellent communicator.
